Well not really. But kind of. The boys at http://www.lifecyclebikeshop.com/ put on my new disc and a new fork (long story!). The machine below is what I'll be rocking this year. Can't wait. My felt is two years old now and I couldn't be happier with it. Solid machine, very responsive, etc. One of my goals this year was to really work on my bike split and I feel like that is coming together well.
This week of training went OK. The week was full of work and lots of travel, so training took a second seat for the most part. I'll end up with about 25 miles of running, one swim session, and 6 hours of cycling. This is a few hours less on the bike than I wanted, but again, just couldn't fit in the training. All that being said, I had a great ride today. We did 4.5 hours with 5700 feet of climbing. I ran 50 minutes off the bike. My legs felt great. I'm very happy with how things are progressing and looking forward to continuing the training push as summer nears. Seeing that bike below reminds me that if I'm going to show up with a ride like that on race day I better perform!! Now is when you put in the work. Thanks for reading!
